SMS debt collection

COMVERGA Services for Debt Collection

Since 2004, we have worked very closely with companies in the debt collection sector.

The most common communication channel in automated debt collection, and pre-collection processes, is the SMS. Depending on the status of the case, SMS messages are sent with an alphanumeric sender field (the name of the debt collection or pre-collection company in the message header). Messages sent with the full mobile phone number - to create a surprise effect - are also popular and effective. Of course, all SMS campaigns are supported by the debt collector's telephone activities. This is where the DIALER service proves its worth in the case of large "callable" databases.

Our long-standing experience confirms the high effectiveness of these activities in the company's contact with the debtor. Typical processes we handle include:

  • Reminders for upcoming payments (contact form: SMS)
  • Information on non-recording of payment after the due date- 15 days, 30 days, 45 days and later. Form of contact: SMS, IVR
  • Confirmation of the details of the call, the so-called m-card. The message sent after a telephone conversation with an agent contains: the name of the company employee, the case number and other necessary for an easy reference. Form: SMS

The measured effectiveness of debt collection activities supported by our services indicates:

  • reduced overdue payment period
  • improved debt collection
  • low cost of reaching the debtor to arrange a debt repayment schedule
